TESZ Millan is this year’s Master of Ceremonies for OPULENCE Season 3. She is thrilled to connect our NYC audience to the beauty and creativity of our diverse fashion designers and runway talent. Born to Ilokano and Kapampangan immigrant parents who raised her in the dry desert of Arizona, TESZ grew up feeling disconnected from her family’s history.
Now she is the creative force behind the documentary series FILIPINA. AMERICAN. CREATIVE. featured on YouTube, where every curated episode is dedicated to rediscovering her lost Philippine heritage. Believing the best way to learn is through deep immersion, TESZ travels the world to experience firsthand the historical sites, culture keepers, and movers and shakers that are defining what it means to be Filipino today.
This highly personal creative journey draws from her studies at the University of
California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and her careers as a professional singer (Miss Saigon, Mamma Mia!) and marketing consultant and spokesperson for high-profile corporations. When she’s not creating her next YouTube episode, you can find her enjoying an oat cortado in a quiet café, planning her next international adventure.
